Snappy Families

Synopsis:
Henry, a semi-retired children's entertainer, had a flutter on the lottery for the first time and came up trumps - on a rollover week! He decides to treat his whole family to a cruise. they originate from Deddington, a small North Country town. At first they are a little out of their element on a cruise ship, but things soon change. . . the family meet up with a gold-digging Cockney charlady, a rather camp cabin steward, and a shy radio officer, among others. This comedy generated over 350 laughs at its premiere performance. the audience thoroughly enjoyed it - and so did the cast!

Some Enchanted Evening

Synopsis:
Monica, a lonely widow, answers a personal ad` in her local paper. the Advertiser describes himself as 6ft, dark-haired and late 40`s. She invites him to dinner; moments before he is due an old neighbour turns up, Marge. Monica gets rid of her. the man is nothing like his self-description - balding, short, dumpy and nearly sixty. He has a nasal voice, takes snuff, has no sense of humour whatsoever and is addicted to TV soaps. Whilst Monica is in the kitchen, Marge returns. It is apparent that she has answered the same personal ad. . .
