Bill Pearson graduated from NIDA and worked as an actor and writer in Australia and England. He was invited to Africa to play Sky in the musical Guys and Dolls. He has also worked for the Old Tote Theatre, Nimrod, and the Tasmanian Theatre Company in Australia, and The West End, Birmingham, Plymouth, Worthing and Derby Reps in England. His writing includes the one man shows The Gulargumbone Lectures, An Evening With Walter Plinge and A Little Part of Inside (produced in England and Australia), Christian and Miller (produced in England) and the first Tasmanian rock musical, Glen, which was performed in Hobart. He was the first writer in residence for the Tasmanian Theatre-in-Education program and spent many years writing music for ABC educational radio. Bill now lives in Hobart and has recently completed an original short play for the performing arts students at St. Michael's Collegiate.
