Elephant, The
Synopsis:
the Elephant is a short, satirical play that actualizes the metaphor of an "elephant in the room". When Lawrence and Diane give birth to a stillborn, the Doctor prescribes the Elephant. Both whimsical and poignant, it explores the tragedy of loss and the complexity of communication--even among loving, well-intentioned people.

I Work At Noah's Bagels
Synopsis:
Noah's Bagels is a bagel shop. the work is boring; the people are fascinating. Belen, a hard-working Hispanic immigrant, is put at the mercy of her insecure, tyrant of a boss. When Alice comes home from college to work a summer job at Noah's, she sets out to help Belen, in hopes that a command of America's native tongue will free her from the harsh realities of immigrant labor. But are Alice's good intentions any match for Belen's cynicism? A tale reflecting blue collar work relationships, bleak truths, and the relevance of hope, I Work at Noah's Bagels journeys poetically through eclectic characters and odd encounters.

Recalling What Lies
Synopsis:
Chloe, a college senior in her final term, takes an Autobiography class. She falls into a complicated relationship with her professor, Gia - a verbose and manipulative character hooked on weeding out student secrets. Chloe struggles to maintain balance between the dark discoveries she reveals in Gia's office and the relationships with her peers: her best friend and housemate, Dylan; his jealous girlfriend, Melanie; and Keith, an awkward, out-of-place classmate who tries to win Chloe's heart. Recalling What Lies questions the nature of boundaries - the crossing and violation of boundaries - in different relationships and on many different levels. the play also addresses the concept of memory: how accurate it is, how it defines us, and ultimately how valuable it is. Recalling What Lies is about making sense of sexuality in light of memory and through the complex boundaries of relationships.
