Shawn A.G. Pendenque is a Toronto Native who has been involved in local community Theatre for over a decade. Background: Randolph Performing Arts Academy / Augusto Boal International Theatre Training. He is also the recipient of the LieutenANT General of Ontario Award for excEllence in the Arts (1993). Shawn is a play write / producer / director / actor and composer; who is also a certified Child and Youth Care Worker, broadening his understanding of working with performers of all ages. Shawn is presently the Artistic Director and co-owner with David Tonelli; of Shadow City Theatre Co. / Cabbagetown Kids Players.

Jane

Synopsis:
This contemporary Drama deals with schizophrenia through the eyes of the sufferer. Jane is a young woman who is haunted by the real world and plagued by the loss of memory, time, and place. She survives her world by finding safety in her mind. She sees the isolation of her illness through the eyes of the other Characters in the play. there is a killer twist in the end that brings it all together. She finds herself as she finds others, and through her own reality her illusions come to light and bring her to the truth about Jane.

Secret Room, The

Synopsis:
This mythological epic tale of courage and magic begins in the attic of young Erin. She hears noises and senses that the dolls in her attic are alive. To her horror they are and they take her to theatre Noir in the land of Dreams where she will be the new Marionette to dance for Maurice the evil Puppet Master. Our Heroine Jody who has been a puppet for hundreds of years finds the courage to stand up to his cruelty and leads the children to freedom from the bonds of nightmares and everlasting night.
