Amulet, The

Synopsis:
This is an adaptation of a Yiddish play by Peretz Hirshbein. It takes place in a world of seers and miracle-workers, where people are expected to suffer in silence. they wear amulets to protect them, waiting passively for the promise of future happiness. the Amulet is the story of a girl who refuses to wait. the play's unusual style combines elements of Greek tragedy, Russian avant -garde, and the Old Testament.

Carcass

Synopsis:
Mendel, a young tanner, has been rejected by all the women in his life: his mother, his sister and his step-mother. When the young woman he loves also rejects him, it becomes too much for him to bear. After a bizarre reunion with his mother, Mendel decides to punish his has-been, alcoholic Father for ruining his life.
