Things of the Heart

Synopsis:
the story of Marian Anderson. From a child singing with a gospel choir to fame as a singer. A friend of Paul Robson and dueting with Roland Hayes - the first black person to sing with the Metropolitan Opera. But when she was not allowed to sing at Constitution Hall she threw her own concert at the Lincoln Memorial attended by 75,000 people.
