Synopsis:
Two strangers wait in a freezing waiting room for a train that never seems to arrive, though the Ticket Collector regularly comes in to collect their tickets. But are they strangers? What traps them here, and what binds them together and separates them at the same time? As the macabre humour changes to unbearable memories they, and the audience, begin to seek and to discover the answers. Maureen Peters is perhaps better known for her numerous historical and detective novels which have been translated into eleven languages.
