Born in Lowell, MA On June 15, 1942. B.A., Stetson University, FL; M.A., Radio, TV and Motion Pictures, University of North Carolina; M.A., English and Comparative Literature, City University of New York. Author of a comic novella, theodore Jonathan Wainwright Is Going to Bomb the Pentagon and numerous books for children, including the Brothers' Wrong and Wrong Again (McGraw Hill), the Man Who Stole the Atlantic Ocean (Prentice-Hall). His poetry has appeared in many magazines and anthologies, including New American Poetry. Recipient: State University of New York Research Fellowship, 1972; State University of New York Playwriting Contest, 1973, 1975; Winner of First Earplay Contest.
