Strangers in the Night
An Australian writer visits New York to meet some relatives and experience the seedy side of a big city. He has a short unhappy stay with an overprotective aunt, and then makes an unsuccessful pass at his cousin. Having alienated his relatives he moves out on his own but his big night on the town goes awry when he is conned by some street hustlers, then mugged at gun point. His night goes from bad to worse when he's rescued by a serial killer.
