Amazing Grace
Synopsis:
In 1904, following a young firebrand miner the "Welsh Revival" caused the young men of Wales suddenly to give up drinking, swearing and wife-beating. the tap rooms emptied and the male population started singing' bread of heaven' at rugby matches as a great epidemic of righteousness raged through the land.

Contender
Synopsis:
Contender is the rags to riches story of Rhondda-born Tommy Farr and his infamous World Title fight against the legendary Joe Louis at the Yankee Stadium, New York in 1937. A wealthy man when he retired from his initial boxing career, Tommy Farr returned to the ring when facing bankruptcy at the age of 37. In a fight which captivated Wales, Farr fought bravely and held on for 15 rounds, with Louis unable to bring Farr down. Joe Louis won eventually on points.
