Mr Satan Goes to Wall StreetMr Satan Goes to Wall Street
Synopsis:
Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement, Mr. Satan Goes to Wall Street tells the story of Satan after he is laid off from Hell because humanity has become too adept at doing evil. To get his job back, Satan makes a deal with neoliberal economist Larry Summers to break up Occupy Wall Street. But the love between two young OWS activists might shake the Devils beliefs. What would Satan do? Our answer: Hed sing! the show premieres in Zuccotti Park on August 17th, 2012. Subsequent free performances will take place in public parks around New York City, followed by a tour to the Republican and Democratic National Conventions in Tampa Bay, FL, and Charlotte, NC.
