Billy M. Pullen has scripted two plays that have received several productions and prizes. His one-act play Fallen Short of the Glory won the Paul T. Nolan prize from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the George R. Kernodle prize from the University of Arkansas, and the Grand Festival Prize from Love Creek Productions on New York City's Theatre row. the play has been produced at Love Creek Productions, the Mark Twain Masquers, and the Crittendon Fine Arts Councile. His full length play Cymbals and Sounding Brass has been produced by Love Creek Productions and Playwrights Forum in Memphis, TN where he lives on Beale Street.
