Gautam Raja is a freelance journalist and writer from Bangalore, India. He is currently based in Orange County, California. He has worked for publications in Oman and the UAE. His plays have been performed in various cities in India, as well as in London. A collection of plays, Damini the Damager and Other Plays, was published in March 2006 by Unisun Publications. His play Vaidehi was selected by the Lark Play Development Center, New York City, as one of eight plays to be showcased at their Playwrights' Week, in September 2006.
