Nancy Redman has rightfully earned a place in the top echelon of the nation's comedians. She was featured on television's Girls' Night Out (Lifetime) and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She was also a two-time prize winner on America's Funniest People (ABC). She "warmed up" audiences for hit shows like The Golden Girls (NBC) and Designing Women (CBS). She has "opened" for show business legends Jackie Mason, Charo, Chubby Checker and Soupy Sales. Redman was featured as a solo performer at the Westbeth Theatre for 3 years in New Stories directed by Karen Ludwig. As an actress, she has appeared at Creative Place Theatre, Dramatis Personae Theatre, 13th Street Playhouse, Theatre Four, and was featured in HB Studio Playwrights Theatre The Restaurant Plays FOR ART( a 2 character play) by Carolyn Boriss-Krimsky, directed by Karen Ludwig. She had a featured role as Connie in the movie "Rescuing Desire" in scenes with Tamara Tunie and Allison Janey. Redman has written comedy for the Internet, corporate shows, and magazines. Studied at HB Studio: Acting, Advanced Scene Study with Austin Pendleton; Playwriting Seminar with Donna De Matteo; Word of Mouth Workshop with Karen Ludwig.
