All the traditional elements are there and with pink elephants in a drunk scene, it may even be politically incorrect! Who cares? Changes at the discretion of the director.

Hansel Und Gretel

Synopsis:
the accent is on atrocious French and German, but the story keeps all the essentials; Gingerbread House - wicked witch - awful puns. Some original songs and a couple of standards. Some of the characters speak in rhyme; this could be updated to rap, should the director feel that way inclined! Successfully performed in schools where the pupils - and teachers - did their worst with the accents

Richard Wellington And His Cat With No Boots

Synopsis:
Richard Wellington is seeking footwear for his feline friend and meets with adventure and magic. Traditional characters include the Dame and a Good Fairy; among the villains is the wicked Jack Boot. Three ne'er-do-wells, Freeman, Hardy and Willis accompany Richard, who falls in love with Stiletto, daughter of Professor Galoshes. the humour has its fair share of groan-worthy puns; it appeals to audiences of all ages and is ideal for PTA productions, for which it was originally written. It has been performed in Malaysia, Belgium and Bosnia and won a "best family entertainment" award in South Africa which came as a surprise, since the setting is very much Hampshire/Wiltshire! Score and cassette available from the author, with advice on magic bits.
