Rachel Rose Reid is poet, a writer and one of a new generation of storytellers. She specialises in taking storytelling to spoken word and performance poetry events across London and beyond. She has performed poetry and tales at the Southbank Centre, Nuyorican Poets Cafe (NY), Latitude Festival and The Barbican, had work commissioned for BBC Radio 3, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Billy Bragg, and collaborated with fellow artists including the Roundhouse Experimental Choir and Dizraeli & the Small Gods. Rachel also has a strong interest in recreated ritual and re-establishing folk customs in urban environments. The Lonely Planet blog named her community ritual The Willesden Green Wassail as "one of the UK's most inspirational winter events".
