Following an extensive 20-year career in business and technical writing, Kim completed a BFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2005. Her writing has appeared in many Canadian newspapers and magazines including The Fence, SubTerrain and Parenting Magazine. Her recent work includes production of her play, Life's A Grind, in addition to two new plays, Where's Tipper Now? and The Flawed Couple. In addition, Kim is writing a fiction novel entitled boun*da*ries and marketing an 18+ television comedy about a polyamorous couple in Leduc, Alberta. Her production company, Dirty Little Monkey Productions, has produced three critically acclaimed plays in Vancouver since its inception in 2005. Kim can be found back at school completing her MFA in Creative Writing at UBC and working on her thesis, The Folio, a play about her favorite playwright, Christopher Marlowe.

Where's Tipper Now?
Synopsis:
This political play examines how labeling all we view and listen to became common practice. The play begins with the PMRC senate hearings in the 80s and traces the origins of the "labeling culture" we now live in to the events of the "Washington Wives" and their drive to label all material consumed as entertainment today.
