He has taught improv classes at the Little Palm Family Theatre in Boca Raton, FL, and is the author of several children's plays based on classic fairytales. Rivette lives in Delray Beach, FL.

Adorabelle And The Silly Seven

Synopsis:
In this wacky adaptation of 'Snow White,' a villainously vain Queen tries to kill her lovely stepdaughter, Adorabelle, with a poisonous hair scrunchie. But when the Silly Seven foil the evil plot, the Queen disguises herself as a Sacko Belle food vendor and convinces Adorabelle that she must try the new Sacko Belle chalupa'the new poisoned chalupa, that is! But luckily for Adorabelle, Prince Ethelbert Von Heimlich III, a stand-up comedian on his way to do a gig at Cinderella's palace, takes a wrongturn.

Androcles And The Lion

Synopsis:
One day, Irving, a loveable lion, gets a thorn stuck in his paw. Due to his overbite and lack of thumbs, Irving can't pull out the painful thorn. But have no fear because a really nice guy, Androcles, comes along and manages to pull the thorn out of Irving's paw. But soon Androcles' and Irving's luck runs out. Irving is captured by hunters, and Androcles is arrested and put in jail by a very mean empress. The Empress is so mean that she won't even grant Androcles one last meal'a chicken-and-beef burrito'before he is thrown to the lions. Will watching professional wrestling on TV and taking tango lessons save Androcles from the lion's jaws? This hilariously zany retelling of the classic tale will delight audiences of all ages. Perfect for touring groups.

Beauty And The Beastie

Synopsis:
When Beauty's father gets laid off from his job at K-Mart, he ventures into a nearby forest to collect wood. But the forest is owned by a horrendously ugly guy named Beastie?and boy is he ugly! Beastie demands that Beauty's father send one of his three daughters to live with him so that he has someone to play cards, ping-pong, Monopoly, Boggle, pool, tennis, golf, croquet, and Parcheesi with. But when Beauty's two selfish older sisters, Blabbette and Ermatroid, refuse to go, Beauty eagerly volunteers. At first, Beastie is delighted to have Beauty join him at the castle, but his gaming dreams are soon dashed when he discovers that Beauty would rather read Harry Potter books than play games! Can Beastie be happy playing tag by himself?

Gildersnort

Synopsis:
When the Baker ventures into a witch's garden to fetch rutabagas for his wife, the wicked Witch of the Winds catches him and demands just one thing in exchange for the rutabagas?the Baker's daughter, Gildersnort! The witch imprisons Gildersnort in a tower guarded by a fierce dragon. But wait a minute! This dragon isn't fierce! It turns out Daryl D. Dragon isn't as scary-looking or fierce as the temp agency promised. In fact, he can't even breathe fire because he drinks too much Pepto Bismol for his upset stomach. But just as everything looks rotten for Gildersnort, a prince, formerly known as Artist, arrives on the scene. Will he be able to remember the secret code and free Gildersnort from the tower?

Goldie And the Bothersome Bears

Synopsis:
All Goldie's parents want her to do is to stay at home and watch TV, but Goldie, an independent, outdoorsy girl, would rather spend time playing in the forest. One day while venturing forth into the woods, Goldie meets Little Red Riding Hood, a wolf, and three bears and invites them all over for dinner. But who should happen to appear unexpectedly? Goldie's cousin, Carlton Weston, who just happens to be an avid hunter of both bears and wolves. After Goldie convinces Carlton that the wolf and bears are friendly, Carlton puts down his shotgun, and proceeds to engage the bears in an 'intelligent' conversation. You see, it turns out that Carlton has a hidden talent'he's fluent in several bear dialects including grizzly, panda, polar, koala, and gummi, to name just a few. But the evening goes too smoothly, and the bears and Carlton decide to stay the entire winter!

Rumpled Stitskin

Synopsis:
King Lariat and Queen Querliette must search their six-block kingdom to find a wife for Prince Moe. The two top contenders include Drizella, who can pull her lower lip over the top of her head, and Prunella, who can burp the national anthem. That leaves Penelope Ann, who is completely talentless. Desperate, Penelope Ann's parents tell the King and Queen that their daughter can spin straw into gold. Doubtful, the King and Queen lock Penelope Ann in the prison tower with a bale of straw and a spinning wheel. All seems lost for Penelope Ann until a bagpipe-playing rap star, Rumpled Stiltskin, appears. Besides his impressive musical talent, Rumpled just happens to be able to spin straw into gold. . .but for a price. All he wants is Penelope Ann's first-born child and a single-family castle on an 18-hole golf course in Boca Raton, FL!
