Louise wrote 'Glutton for Punishment' which was published by Pan Books whilst she was still at the University of East Anglia studying Linguistics. She then worked in TV production for a number of years for Yorkshire Television, Channel Four and the BBC. Since 1999 she has written 'Frankie's Game', 'Girls Night', 'Bobby & Johnny', 'milton Keynes the Musical', 'Lucky Balls', 'Girls Behind', 'Happy Christmas Shirley', 'True Love', 'Checkout Girls', and 'Girls Night Too'. 'Baby Shower' and 'Finding Daddy' are currently in development. She has also written for ITV's 'Where the Heart Is' and is currently working on new scripts for ITV and Radio 4. In 2001 she was voted Millennium Woman by Milton Keynes Women of Enterprise. In 2003 she became a director of Theatre company 'Goodnights Entertainment Ltd'.

Synopsis:
Barbara has just survived an eventful 'significant' birthday, which has got her thinking about many things - not least the merits of 'Big Pants and Botox'. Come and join her as she takes us on a hilarious, emotional, intriguing and ultimately uplifting journey. If you have to empty your bladder before joining the kids on the trampoline, and it's a few years since you've had an uninterrupted view of your feet: if you know a prolapse has nothing to do with structural engineering, and that the word piles doesn't have to be followed by the word 'of', then you'll be amused, delighted, and even comforted by Louise Roche's new play 'Big Pants and Botox'.

Girls Night

Synopsis:
follows five friends in their 30s and 40s during a wild and outrageous girls night out at a karaoke bar. Friends since their teens, they have all had their fair share of heartache and tragedy, joy and success. Among the characters are Carol the party girl, blunt Anita who tells it like it is, Liza with her marital (and eating) issues, boring Kate the designated driver, and Sharon, the not-so-angelic angel who just couldn't resist tagging along. Together, they reminisce about their younger days, celebrate their current lives and look to the future, all the while belting out an array of classic anthems such as 'I Will Survive', 'Lady Marmalade', 'It's Raining Men', 'man I Feel Like a Woman', and 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun'."
