Touchstone
Synopsis:
1940 and at the height of the War two children are evacuated to the West Country. There in a lake they stumble across the remains of Excalibur and, in so doing, bring Merlin back to life. He releases a fragment of the Touchstone from the hilt and tells the children they must find the remaining pieces and take the complete stone to the King. Once their mission has been completed England will be safe from invasion. Their task is made more dangerous by spies trying to thwart their efforts and taker the stone back to Germany. Meanwhile, back in London, their mother is coming to terms with the news her husband is believed killed in action and she falls in love with a French soldier. Thus there are echoes of the love triangle of Camelot.
