Arianna Rose is an award-winning playwright, songwriter and musical theatre writer. Her play FAMILY BY NUMBERS won the Best Play 1st Prize Award from Theatre Odysseys 2019 Ten-Minute Play Festival, 3rd place from Tree City Playhouses New Plays Festival, Audience Choice from the End of the Road Theatre Festival and Honorable Mention in the 2019 New Plays of Merit contest. Arianna won the 2012 MAC Award for Song of the Year for Hes On His Way with composer Robby Stamper, and was a finalist for the 2019-2020 Kleban Award for Musical Theatre lyric writing. She is one of four playwrights in the Miami-Dade Council of Cultural Affairs 2019-2021 Playwright Development Program facilitated by Kia Corthron. Winner, 2022 HRC Showcase Theatre New Works Festival; Mixing it Up Productions 2020 Emerging Playwright Contest; 2020 National Playwrights Retreat; 2020 William Inge Theatre Festival New Play Lab; 2021 Alumnae Theatre New Ideas Festival; 2021 Florida Festival of New Musicals. M.F.A.: Musical Theatre Writing, NYU Tisch School of the Arts. B.A.: Theatre, Bucknell University. BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Writing Workshop alumna, York Theatre NEO (new emerging outstanding writer) recipient. She is the 2020 Dramatists Guild Ambassador for the South Florida region.
