Tamara Rose has studied Shakespeare in London (with NYU), and holds a BA from the College of New Rochelle, receiving a Double Major in English & Communication Arts, with a Double Minor in Performance & Classics. However, her finest education happened while witnessing the spectacular variety of Independent Theater in NYC as a Production Stage Manager. Some of her favorite experiences include the NYC Fringe Festival, White Bird Productions, Golden Fleece-The Composers' Chamber Theatre and the 2 year stint of rehearsals at the Actors' Studio working on OEDIPUS REX, starring Al Pacino and directed by Estelle Parsons. ACCIDENTAL MEETING, a short play, was a Semi-Finalist for the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Play Festival. THE THREE OF US was named Best Full Length in the "Unchained Love" International Play Competition sponsored by Open Love New York & was given a reading and award at the Manhattan Theater Club. SENSE, her tribute to Henry David Thoreau and the Transcendentalists, has been featured at the Thoreau Society Annual Gathering; her historical scenes and monologues can be seen making the rounds, performed by various New York and Massachusetts Historical Interpreters and Tourguides (including herself). Her "Robot Monologue" is featured in Applause Books' "One on One; Playing with a Purpose-Monologues for Kids". As a Visual Artist, her ongoing "Mousetrap Project" Art Installation has been on display throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. In 2014, she became a recipient of the Wildcat Art Fellowship. In her other life, she puts her MBA and MS in "Human Factors in Information Design" to work as a User Experience Researcher, a role in which she gets to investigate the perspective of the audience of modern technology.
