An award-winning playwright, Robin's work has been produced in New York and regionally, including Actors Theatre of Louisville, where many of her short plays have been finalists for the Heideman Award. In a review of her Off-Broadway play, ON DEAF EARS Lawrence Van Gelder of the New York Times described her as a "promising playwright." Robin's plays have also been finalists for the Jane Chambers Playwriting Award, the Turnip Fifteen-Minute Play Festival, the Ten By Ten Festival (Chapel Hill, NC) and the Kernodle Playwriting Competition. For over four years Robin also wrote sketch comedy and performed throughout New York City at Caroline's, Gotham Comedy Club and HERE, among many other notable venues. Some New York companies where her plays have had readings or productions include Vital Theatre Company, New Georges, the WorkShop Theatre Company, Triangle Theatre, the Neighborhood Playhouse and Word of Mouth. Robin graduated with honors in English from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied playwriting with Romulus Linney. Her writing can be found in anthologies published by Heinemann and Smith & Kraus. In addition to the Dramatists Guild, Robin is a member of Actors' Equity Association (AEA).

Synopsis:
Part of the Derek Jeter Plays. Synopsis:
This comedy centers around Sadie and Evelyn, two senior citizens residing in a condominium complex in Florida. their daily poolside pow-wows are interrupted when Sadie is visited by her estranged daughter, Lila. Meanwhile, Evelyn finds herself fending off the congenial Jimmy O'Gara, a fellow resident and ardent suitor.
