Synopsis:
A macabre and darkly comic tale of death and violent revenge inspired by the work of Edward Gorey. Combining video, dance and original live music by award-winning composer Denis Clohessy, Animus is a darkly comic, forensic journey through murder, loyalty and revenge. A family is thrown into turmoil after a violent event. A man is left to deal with the consequences of a tragic accident. Two sisters set out to seek their version of justice. Their dilemma provokes the questions - Are we all truly capable of violence? How to serve up revenge: hot or cold?
