Jason And the Argonauts
Synopsis:
Return to an age of daringly short skirts in this spectacular musical of love, treachery and adventure featuring a gorgeous golden boy and several sexually frustrated goddesses. Complete with Giants, Monsters, Serpent and Harpies, this irreverent treatment of the classic Greek myth follows Jason the jumped-up avenger as he sets out on the seemingly impossible task of retrieving the Golden Fleece to regain his rightful crown from the cruel King Pelias. Allied to Jason on his quest for the elevated rug is a band of lovable misfits called 'The Argonauts', the strange and beautiful Medea and Hera, Queen of the Goddesses. Wait a minute - two women, one man. . . that could be a problem.

Princess Phyllida's Fortnight
Synopsis:
Everyone thinks Phyllida lives inside a fairytale, but the pampered Bavarian princess is planning an escape. Spurning a handsome prince, Phyllida absconds with her tutor, Fritzing. They settle in Somerset, where Phyllida wreaks havoc by behaving rather too much like a princess! Then a certain jilted prince turns up. A ripping yarn of derring-do, heady romance and Latin grammar.

Return of the Soldier, The
Synopsis:
Coinciding with the centenary of the First World War, The Return of the Soldier is a new musical adaptation of Rebecca West's remarkable 1918 novella of the home front. An intensely bitter-sweet tale dissects the very different love of three women for one man. When Christopher returns from the war, shell-shocked, there are profound consequences for each of them. With a cast of six, this powerful new drama with its rich and arresting score becomes an eloquent treatise on the nature of love, truth, memory and loss. In the end, only an extraordinary sacrifice will restore the fragile status quo.
