Eagle Squadron Go!

Synopsis:
Michael Mraz of nytheatre.com said of the NYFringe Festival production: "Eagle Squadron GO! whisks you away on a rollicking adventure through World War II London and France, making stops in secret French resistance camps, seedy nightclubs, and tearing through the skies in thrilling dogfights (with tongue firmly inserted in cheek throughout most of the show). . . Scott's script moves at a quick pace, never lagging, and is full of snappy wit and truly hilarious puns and one-liners." Eagle Squadron GO! was inspired by a small group of American pilots who defied the neutral US government to join the Battle of Britain, England's desperate fight to defend herself against the German airborne assault meant as a prelude to Hitler's invasion of England. But Eagle Squadron GO! is more hysterical than historical. 9 (or more) actors play sixty-five characters, as they fight, love, sing, die, and win WWII all over again.

Notes:
written by Garet Scott, Music by John Bauers. In the original production, 9 Actors played 65 roles, which included A fair Amount of cross-gender casting. If A larger cast is used, A number of small roles can be Added, such As Nightclub patrons And French villagers.
