Black Sermon Rock
Synopsis:
Sister Rose, a black storefront church "preacheress," attempts to conduct a simple burial ceremony for two black men. Synopsis:
A HooDoo captain manipulates the inhabitants (patients) toward a deeper understanding of the spirit of racial and personal identity. They devise ingenious ways to abuse the credit systern to get from the Island of Harloorn to the Island of Haitu. The blacks, Ivan-the-Terrific, Grace-the-Great, the Baby-Ru, and Madame Manong, decide to include whites on the voyage, which leads to some comic reversals
