Adam Joseph Seidel is a Milwaukee native who has lived in Chicago for the past five years. His full-length play Catching the Butcher received a reading at the 6th annual Panndora's Box Festival of New Works in Santa Ana, California, and was subsequently produced by Panndora Productions in February of 2013 at the Long Beach Playhouse. Another full length, titled Harold After, received it's world premiere at the 2013 Chicago Fringe Festival, and won the Audience Favorite Award, and will be presented in May 2014 At the Denton Community Theatre in Denton, TX. Other full-length credits include Crime Scene: A Chicago anthology (Collaboraction Theatre Company, Chicago) and Crime Scene: Let Hope Rise (Collaboraction Theatre Company, Chicago). One-act plays include One for the Chipper (Little Fish Theatre, San Pedro, California; Milwaukee Repertory Theater), One of Many Strange Things to Happen on a Cruise Ship (Third Eye Theater, Portland, Oregon; Player's Theatre, NYC: Theatre Oxford, Oxford MS), Confessions in a Video Store (Player's Theatre; Camino Real Playhouse, Orange County, California; Sunshine Brooks Theatre, Oceanside, California; N.U.F.A.N. Ensemble, Chicago), Bodega (2014 Athe National Conference, Scottsdale, AZ) and Darkness (Collaboraction Theatre Company, Chicago; Theatre Southwest, Houston, Texas).

Synopsis:
A serial killer has been terrorizing several towns in Texas, having killed eleven women before dropping their remains in the river with a poem attached. While most women are in fear for their lives, Nancy is instead curious. This causes her to search out The Butcher. When she finds herself in his basement, she likes it.
