One of Poland's foremost contemporary playwrights, Malgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuks plays include The Death of the Squirrel Man and The Suitcase, which won the Metaphors of Reality competition organized by Polish Theatre in Poznan, the Grand Prix of the Polish Radio and Television Theatre Festival, and received an award from the Festival of Polish Contemporary Plays in Gdynia where her other play Loose Screws was also recognized with an award. Malgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuks plays have been published in several anthologies of Polish contemporary dramaturgy (in French, German, Swiss, English, Romanian) and in magazines Theatre Notebook and Dialog monthly.

Post 9/11 paranoia, neo-fascism and a crumbling currency entwine in this exciting new production - the result of a unique collaboration between theatres in the UK, Germany, Poland and Croatia. the differing viewpoints and four languages have combined to create a must-see explosive exploration of a continent in crisis. This edition features both the multi-lingual and the English text, and has an introduction by the dramaturg behind the project, Caroline Jester.
