Apartment 2012

Synopsis:
the Mayans nearly got it right - in 2012 nuclear war has wiped the Capitalist world off the face of the earth. A fairly wealthy, dysfunctional Jewish family from New York is living in one of the few radiation-free places left - a post-modern soviet Russia run by evil Mafia. Food is scarc e, condoms scarcer. A sinister next door neighbour spies on them as they secretly plan their escape to Israel (a coincidentally also radiation-free place). This fast-moving, fish-out-of-water comedy by award-winning writer Julian Sims explores a family's will to survive and to return home. . . wherever that may be.
