Borges and IBorges and I
Synopsis:
This stunning piece of visual theatre explores the life of writer Jorge Luis Borges, who questioned and translated the world around him. Through the use of multimedia and his evocative stories Idle Motion bring forth images of labyrinths, tigers and a universe of libraries. Meanwhile, a couple meet at a haphazard and ill-conceived book group, brought together through their shared love of literature. Using imaginative staging and inventive storytelling Idle Motion draw parallels between Borges' life, his work and his readership, revealing a vivid portrait of a man on the brink of blindness.
