Kenley Smith is a distinguished graduate of the Playwright's Lab at Hollins University, where he also earned an M.A. in Creative Writing in 1982. He is the founding patron of Studio Roanoke, a black-box Theatre devoted to the development and production of new works. He served as the first president of Studio Roanoke's Board of Directors, and is now the Artistic Director. He is a member of the Dramatist's Guild. A native of Beckley, WV, Kenley currently resides in Bent Mountain, VA.

Synopsis:

the play took top honors At Barter theatre's 2008 Appalachian Festival of Plays And Playwrights, won the 2009 Joe McCabe Memorial Playwriting Award (sponsored by WV Writers, Inc.) And was featured At the 2008 Great Plains theatre Festival. It is the first installment of the Famous Bobby Pence trilogy.

Synopsis:
