Hotel de Rive

Synopsis:
Based on four of his surrealistic texts 1) Yesterday, Flying Sand, 2) A Blind Man Reaches Out the Hand in the Night, 3) Paris Without an End and 4) The dream, the Sphinx and the Death of T, Hotel de Rive explores Giacomettis unique creative world through the spoken and written word, through lines both drawn and danced, through the virtuosic manipulation of his figures brought to life, and through soundscapes, music, and stone.

Notes:
Inspired by the singular vision and work of the seminal 20th-century Italian sculptor Alberto Giacometti, Hotel de Rive creates a new space within which the visual and performing arts are united with literature.

Figuren Theater Tübingen in co-production with Compagnie Bagages de Sable and Theater Stadelhofen
