Hannah Soulsby graduated from Birmingham School of Acting in 2006 where she was lucky enough to play such roles as the title role in 'moll Flanders', Mrs. Gogan in 'The Plough and the Stars', and Susan in 'Company! She then went straight into a National Theatre tour with Quantum Theatre performing in such theatres as The Garrick, Hackney Empire and Grimsby Auditorium. Her repertoire also includes workshopping a brand new play 'Technofear' at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone, Kent and she was very proud to be part of a Steps Tribute band!

Captive Minds

Synopsis:
Nine girls have been murdered by Adam, their beauty eternally captured in charcoal sketches. But this is a story about two sisters. Amy, 24. was in care with Adam. Amy is chaotic. lives alone... she's not like her sister, Beth. Beth is successful, a good teacher, able to move on. wishes her sister would listen to helpful advice. And then there's Emily, a good listener, who works with Adam. Ambitious with a bright future, she will do anything for recognition. Can Adam be the influence to change these people's lives? Is it possible for a psychopath to be the catalyst for good? 'Captive Minds' journeys into the dark world of obsession, exploring the morbidity of the human psyche and the charm of a damaged soul.

Cleansed

Synopsis:
1998. The last Magdalene laundry has closed. Mother Brigid, a lonely old lady sits in a retirement home with her brusque carer. It soon becomes clear their relationship is not what it seems. The laundries were institutions for fallen women who were incarcerated to wash their sins away. How did society fail generations of women by allowing them to be wrongfully imprisoned and brutalised? What has happened to the survivors, victims coping with life in the aftermath of these traumatic experiences? Rummage Theatre/a LEAP Theatre project, inspired by real life stories, debuts with a poignant, thought-provoking Drama.
