Nika Soymonoff has been a drama teacher for years, with primary and secondary schools on the Queensland coast. Her preference is to work with students to bring out their ideas and experiences, then, through improvisation and collaboration, create scripts and bring them to performance for parents and friends, or youth theatre nights. She also writes poetry and is currently writing a proposal to join the Masters Research playwriting course at JCU in Cairns.
