Spotted Stripes Circus is a brand new Edinburgh based performing arts company created by husband and wife partnership Phil & Emma Hardie in order to create high quality circus theatre shows drawing on dance, physical theatre and traditional circus. To create high quality theatre pieces which draw on our many years experience working as entertainers and our broad skills base. We would like to use our skills as dancers, acrobats, aerialists and character performers to produce circus theatre shows which will make our audiences laugh, cry, fear and inspire.

Synopsis:
Frankenstein  a classic horror story. Experienced primarily from the viewpoint of a Frankensteins monster, this solo piece explores the books and contemporary societys parallel obsessions with idealised beauty, social conformity and the isolation all too easily felt even when surrounded by the power and means of constant communication and virtual interaction.
