Ada
Synopsis:
the play takes us through the tumultuous life of Ada, daughter of the poet George Byron. An inspired genius, Ada is now credited with imagining the first computer program, one century ahead of her time. the play explores the wild tangential workings of her brain and her encounters with Babbage, Darwin and Lewis Carroll as they try to envision a new way of looking at the world. In her struggle against the genteel cage of a Victorian woman's life her best companion is the spirit of her dead father, whose tragic fate she is destined to follow.
