Synopsis:
Eve Steele plays two-year-old Charlie in her own play Lub You.
Notes:
The writer of Lub You, one of the most successful entries in the 2009 24:7 Theatre Festival, has been given A Grants for the Arts Award from Arts Council England North West to develop the piece into A full-length play. The £4,977 Award is for writer Eve Steele to work in collaboration with Northwest Playwrights, Arden, Bolton Octagon And Children's Surestart to create A full-length, three-part version of the play which will be re-titled The Cracks. The original play was nominated for MEN theatre Awards for 'new play' And 'fringe production' And won An Award for 'performance in A fringe production' for her. It was Also chosen As one of the 'Three of the Best' to transfer to Bolton Octagon And the Young Vic in London later last year.

Lost in a strange and astonishing land, inhabited by wizards, munchkins, flying monkeys and witches, Dorothy and her faithful dog Toto need to find their way back home to Bolton. Heading for the Emerald City, with the help of her new friends; Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the cowardly Lion, Dorothy sets out along the yellow brick road to find the Great Oz - a Wizard with the power to make all of their dreams come true.
