Synopsis:
How did I become a circus freak in one Saturday? In Braced, after 13-year-old Lauren is diagnosed with scoliosis, she finds herself braced in more ways than one. Transitioning between over a dozen characters, Rebecca Steele tells the story of a girl who finds the will to endure lifes shortcomings and accept herself for who she really is. This show is part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.
