Barcinda Forest

Synopsis:
Barcinda Forest is a new environmental play which deals with the subject of deforestation and the cataclysmic effects it has on an assortment of forest creatures when they realize that the forest they call home is being destroyed by a land developer. the forest creatures will speak in blank verse, whereas the humans in the outside world speak in prose. the purpose of this use of blank verse is to set up two different sounds: the sound of the forest world in sync with nature, and the sound of the human world out of sync with nature. In doing their "pixel part" to raise environmental awareness, Original Intent theater will donate the Barcinda Forest admission price to the audience member's favorite environmental group. If an audience member doesn't have a favorite environmental group, some suggestions will be offered (the Sierra Club, Earthjustice, Greenpeace, Riverkeeper, World Wildlife Fund, to name a few).

Moon 2 @ Tryston

Synopsis:
Moon 2 @ Tryston, an intergalactic political romance, tells the story of two very different planets in a far-off solar system. Planet Verideen, where women reign over men, is ruled by Queen Philoxena, and planet Gobara where a person's worth is measured solely in material terms, is ruled by President Ronan. Into the mix step some military/industrial CEOs seeking to sell their wares: Tor Blastiff and Sarai Snek. It will be up to two rebellious young people, Lisanne Ronan and Prince De Armand, to extract their planets from ensuing war, finding love in the process.
