Diamando Stratakos is an actor, producer, writer, and director. Born and raised in Ithaca, New York, she then went on to Syracuse University, where she graduated in 2003 with her BFA in Acting. Since graduating from college, she has worked extensively in off-off Broadway theater and indie film community in NYC. She was the founder and Artistic Director of Left Hip Productions and then went on to become the Director of Artist Development for The Active Theater. She most recently finished her first short screenplay, for which she will also act and direct. Her work is based heavily in improvisation and in the use of collaboration for creating new art. She is a proud Greek American and in hot pursuit of projects that will take her back to Greece.
