Johnny Sumelj is an avid writer but works predominately as an actor and voice-over artist. He trained as an actor at UOW, graduating with his BCA in 2003, and has performed in such plays as Twelve Angry Men (2014), Lear (2015), Doubt: A Parable (2017), The Removalists (2017), and Terms of Endearment (2019) to name a few. He first came to attention as a playwright when his short play Natalies Doubt made its world premiere at a Christmas community event in 2007. Since then Johnny has written over a dozen plays and continues to write for festivals and theatre events both nationally and internationally.

Dick's Hard: With A Vengeance

Synopsis:
Dick and Eddie are brothers who hate each other with a passion. Eddie's taken hold of the family business and Dick thinks he'd be better for it. When Dick learns that Eddie killed their father and uncle to obtain his position, Dick will learn to harness his emotions and surrender to the act of vengeance.
