Burnt

Chris Summers
A short, sharp, evocative collection of monologues written by some of Australias leading young and established playwrights. Each piece is crafted for an actor aged between 16 and 20. Subtle, uplifting, poetic and funny, these pieces are as exciting and diverse as the young actors that perform them.

Crossed

Synopsis:
Five initially disparate urban Australian lives intertwine and intersect, ultimately all leading to the police shooting of a young man in a kids playground. Cities tend to depersonalise grief and loss, yet most of us live with fear and frustration as a constant. When tensions boil over and we are face to face with incomprehensible rage, what would we do? Would we, could we, help?

Rat

Synopsis:
RAT is a play about striving to be yourself, against the grain of expectation. Blistering, poetic and bleakly hilarious; previous development of the play has been supported by St Martins Youth Theatre and the City of Melbourne. A comic exploration of power - RAT asks us to consider who we are and what we, and other people, want us to be?
