Africker

Synopsis:
In the nineteenth century, it took Europe less than a lifetime to colonise another continent. Today, can History make sense of the Scramble for Africa and the explorers, contractors, queens and killers it took to subjugate 110 million people? Or is History as mad as his characters? Songs, drag queens, murder  historical crimes have modern consequences in this Victorian music hall.

Anatomy Act was written in November 2009 in Gokarna, India. It was first performed in A garage yard in Vauxhall in mid-December 2009. It starred Harriet Green, Adam Lawrence, Freddy Syborn And Jessie Wyld. A second version was previewed At the Etcetera Theatre, London, before running At C Venues over the Edinburgh Festival in August 2010

Cut

Synopsis:
A mother and son argue about more than their dead dog. A safe takes fifteen minutes to open. A man acts out begging for mercy. People take cuts. Cut is about how you can no longer imagine what it's like to be anyone else because you've lost what it is to be yourself.

Flesh-Eating Jacobean Zombies

Synopsis:
In his be-cobwebbed alchemist's workshop, Prince Rodeo plots his revenge upon his father, the king, Elvis, who recently deflowered the object of Rodeo's affection, Lady Danae. But  unbeknownst to him  Jeremy Beadle (the king's jester) and his lover, the firebrand cleric Abu Hamza (Danae's lady-in-waiting), have set in motion a terrible chain of events that culminate in the explosive birth of a zombie that might well annihilate everyone.

Synopsis:
The play was based on Hannah Arendt's The Banality of Evil: Eichmann in Jerusalem. An unnamed war criminal is interviewed by prosecutors after being abducted and taken to a country in which he can be tried. The interviewers are frustrated by his total idiocy.

Now the late last winter

Synopsis:
Three sisters wait to identify their father's body after a bomb has been set off in London. Penelope is married to a sleazy mayoral candidate. Ariadne is a ghost-writer with three children. Jane is a model. They bicker about the war, bondage and money. A deal is made as the past becomes a trap. They are all haunted, not by the dead man, but by a Ouija board and ice.

Pathological

Synopsis:
Paul is a massive liar. He can't get close to women because he is:1) quite strange 2) interested in serial killers (basically a subcategory of 1) 3) a massive liar. RE____ began as a biography of Rev. Harold Davidson, a cuckolded veteran of the Great War who dedicated himself to saving' fallen women. When his overenthusiastic ministrations lead to his own fall, he carved a new career ranting in a cage with two lions in a Skegness amusement park. The lions ate him on 28th July 1937.

Sophrosyne

Synopsis:
Sophrosyne is a play about family and evil. It's also a comedy. It is Robert's 60th birthday. He lives with his boyfriend, his mad mother and her parrot. His two children come up for the celebrations: his son grows penises on the backs of rats, his daughter believes in God. Robert wants to talk about sex. No one else does. A child has been lost and a poem written, and Robert wants to put a glory-hole through the fourth wall. No one quite knows what to say. We can see the strings of madness, inherited voices and murder.
