Ramez Tabit is a VCA graduate who has performed for the stage, film and television. His plays include Empty Shells (funded by the Australia Council), But You Don't Look Middle Eastern? (Commissioned by the Australian Arabic Council for the International Year of Tolerance) and Mervin M Mervin (La Mama). Currently Ramez is completing a Victorian Arts commission The Muslim Sinner. Empty Shells
Synopsis:
Empty Shells tells the story of four young boys coming to grips with their town and their relationships becoming a battleground overnight. It is a complicated story steeped in ancient history and a hundred political positions. It is a story of war and departure, of migration to a new country to save the only thing that is left -- the children. Variable cast.

Muslim Sinner, The
Synopsis:
When Abdou, a Muslim farmer from the Middle East, meets Julia and Michael, a married couple who are both pentecostal Christian pastors, their lives are changed forever. Both Abdou and Julia's long held beliefs and values are challenged by the complexity of their relationship as they struggle to make their love possible in the face of vast cultural and religious differences.
