Pastiche

Synopsis:
Set in Adelaide in a post-oil future, when perhaps two-thirds of the population had perished from the effects of famine, disease and civil strife, Pastiche tells the story of Finn, a country boy, who comes to the city looking for a way to survive. Pastiche is a play about loss and reclaiming; about the healing power of memory. It is an attempt to explore what might be left of our culture when society falls apart, and the role that reclaimed fragments of poetry and song can play in building a new order.
