Scott Taylor began writing for Australian theatre in the early 1990s, with productions of his plays Closing Time, The Empty Playground, and Clipped Wings, the latter winning the Australian Writer's Guild award for best play. Mr. Taylor began writing for television in 1994, running a number of internationally popular Australian shows, before working overseas setting up new dramas in Indonesia, Poland, and Russia. He has developed a number of original programs for Fremantlemedia and has recently formed his own company, Cableview Producers, in partnership with producer Wayne Henry. The company is working towards producing original film and television products. Mr. Taylor currently works out of Melbourne Australia.
