D.I.Y (Do It Yourself)
Synopsis:
DIY is not set in any particular time or place. C-Man, retired to a deckchair with his newspaper, is disturbed by the arrival of B-man who begins to build a strange structure nearby. The two, who are initially at loggerheads, 'build' a relationship over time and eventually collaborate on the construction. Building of various kinds is one of the themes of this absurdist piece, with boxes being a central motif: B-Man 'picks a box' which determines his fate, the two protagonists have a "box-in" match to settle their differences and, ultimately, they get 'boxed-in' by their structure. An idiosyncratic use of language is an important part of the world of the play.ser's guide to self-construction.

Last Chance Gas

Set in an Australia of the future, a kind of desolate cluttered Mad Max landscape where technology, language and human relationships have broken down. The use of language in this play - almost a new Australian dialect - is extraordinary.

Tranquility
Synopsis:
Thaddeus sport has had enough. In an effort to find some peace and tranquility, he flees civilization and sets up camp at the north pole - as far away as possible from the rest of humanity. As his polar retreat starts to be intruded upon, he begins to formulate an even more fantastic plan for "escape". He dreams of jouneying to the moon and in his increasingly deluded state, makes preparations for achieving his goal. The play is concerned with cultural homogenization and the environmental and psychological effects of an ever-increasing population.
