Rachel Teagle, playwright, director, and comedian, grew up in the Silicon Valley and graduated from Carleton College. Her scripts generally focus on strong female characters, transcending reality, and bear attacks. Previous works include: Orange: a farce (about terrorism) (Minnesota Fringe), Muse (BareStage Theater), Covert Operations (NYC and MD), Brown Recluse (Essential Theater), My Little Pony Express (Bloomington Playwrights Project), the Panda Sandwich sketch comedy troupe, and Rachel Teagle Believes in Ghosts (Minnesota Fringe, Serenbe Playhouse). Rachel is a recent Atlanta transplant, and a former Horizon Theatre playwriting apprentice.

Orange: A Farce About Terrorism

Synopsis:
Two job applicants walk in for an interview and find themselves at the site of a nuclear hostage crisis. Joining forces with the sex-crazed receptionist, the manic office manager, the Baha'i tech girl, and the mail boy (who looks a bit like the Unibomber), the fight to save all we hold dear. In this solo show, she delves into her own haunted history: from California's Winchester Mystery House to the disappearing cemeteries in Savannah.
