Boy, The

Synopsis:
Remarried widow Mrs Millicent Meebles always understates the age of her son to make herself appear younger. She says Hughie is fourteen - in fact he is nineteen. Hughie takes his step-father, a magistrate, to a nightclub. Millicent follows them as she wants to warn her sister Diana not to divulge Hughie's age. The nightclub is raided by the police. Mr Burridge escapes but Millicent and Diana are arrested. When Mr Burridge arrives at court next day Millicent and Diana are up before him. He has no choice but to sentence them to prison. However, another magistrate finds a legal loophole and the sentences are quashed

Lady Be Good

Synopsis:
Setting: Beacon Hill, Rhode Island and Eastern Harbor, Connecticut. Dick and Susie Trevor are penniless siblings evicted from their Rhode Island mansion. Dick is determined to many the wealthy Josephine Vandewater in order to return to solvency but Susie is equally determined to save Dick from a loveless marriage by posing as a Spanish widow in order to claim a substantial inheritance.

Rio Rita

Rio Rita
Captain Jim Stewart of the Texas Rangers is in Mexico in disguise trying to track down a criminal known as "Kinkajou". He meets and falls in love with Rita Fergusson who sings in a local hotel. Rita and Roberto, her brother have lost their ranch. General Estaban the local governor is also in love with Rita and he hatches a plot to break them up by telling her that Jim is spying on Roberto. Meanwhile Chick Bean a salesman and Dolly a cabaret singer arrive in town to get married. After the ceremony takes place they are told that Chick's divorce has not been finalised yet
